As many others, I got inserted into the German Shepherd World when I was younger, with my first Shepherd dog Dick, a magnificient male with an enviable temper.
About five years ago, I bought Goliath, a young Shepherd male that became an excellent partner. When Goliath was 2 years old, I got in contact with a trainer, and Goliath turned into a personal protection dog. It was an excellent dog to perform such function, but Goliath lacked the corporal structure to compete.
Once I became involved in the environment, I was overcame by passion, and a good friend, Silvia, gave me a promising puppy, Clauss de La Huella. From that day on, my life turned around the dogs. Clauss, “El Chiquitillo”, (The little one), has been on the Podium since its participation in the first contest on March 19, 2006, when being only four months and 15 days old, it obtained the First Place.
From there on, it continued winning at National Competitions. Then I faced the question: what would happened if we were to compete abroad? Could it be that the dog is only good competing against Costa Rican competitors or is it a great quality dog? Well, I accepted the challenge and on October 2006, we entered the Guatemalan Sieger. Here Clauss “El Chiquitillo”, obtained the First Place in the 9 –12 months males category. This new prize inspired me to participate in the Salvadorian Sieger in November 2006. So my hopes were confirmed: Clauss is a very good dog, and it won the First Place in the 12–18 months males category.
Then it was in January 2007, during the Costa Rican Sieger, when it won the Third Place in the 12–18 months males category, and it was named as the 2006 Costa Rican Puppy of the Year, for it was the one that obtained the best qualifications in all the 2006 year competences. Clauss has an acknowledged temper and an enviable structure.
Ending 2006, I bought Wussy von Kisman, an Argentinan puppy, daughter of Carly von del Dido, a magnific female which won the 2006 Salvadorian Sieger in the 6–9 months female category. Obviously, I am planning to breed Clauss and Wussy, and to start my own breeding.
On the first days of May, I decided to register my own breeding brand name with the Asociación Ovejero Alemán de Costa Rica. Then I travelled to Serbia and there I bought Fanto von Bellissimo, a magnific (The most extraordinary, excellent) 3 and a half years old male dog, son of Erasmus von Noort VA3 German, which added to Clauss, make two great male dogs for breeding.
I also bought Zappa von Haus Milosevac, a young female with excellent structure, very firm, strong and with a very nice temper.
Very soon I will add a new male and some more interesting females to complete the breeding coumpond.
Right now I can offer Fanto for mounting, if somebody is interested for their females. As for Clauss, it will be ready for mountings beginning November 2007. As for puppies, I hope to have the first litter for sale during January 2008.
If you are visiting this site with the option to buy, come back to this address at the beginning of next year.
I will keep this site up to date with the achivements the dogs will get in the coming competences.
